"After years of working in the Intensive Care Unit and then Home Health/Hospice, I returned to graduate school to complete nurse practitioner training. I achieved certification as an adult nurse practitioner with a subspecialty in chronic illness. It is one of the best decisions I ever made. In my practice, I strive to listen and provide compassionate care. I incorporate Lifestyle Management with its emphasis on weight control, exercise and diet to assist patients to obtain their optimal health status. This approach not only prevents disease, but is integral to the treatment, management, and reversal of many chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, cancer, depression, anxiety, and sexual function. I always enjoy meeting and caring for new patients."

"Katie always spends time with me and emphasizes the positive. She encourages me to exercise and live a healthier lifestyle so I will require fewer medications. I took my mom to Katie for many years. I was always very pleased with how she took care of her. She always took plenty of time with us, always did the right thing. Fantastic for geriatric care."
